Hardin County Emergency Services District 6 is proud to announce a Community Fire Safety & CPR Training Event designed to equip residents with essential life-saving skills. This educational event focuses on prevention, preparedness, and practical emergency response knowledge for individuals and families across the district.
Emergencies can happen without warning. Having the right knowledge and confidence to respond during the first critical minutes can make a significant difference. This event is part of our continued commitment to strengthening public awareness and promoting community safety.
What Participants Will Learn
Attendees will receive hands-on instruction and demonstrations led by certified emergency responders. Training topics include:
- Proper use of portable fire extinguishers
- Identifying common fire hazards in homes and workplaces
- Creating and practicing a home fire escape plan
- Basic CPR techniques for adults and children
- Understanding when and how to call 911 effectively
Participants will also learn the importance of maintaining smoke alarms and preparing emergency kits for severe weather or unexpected disasters.
